I went across the street just now to the ridiculously overpriced confectionery because I was desperate for some Pepsi. While I wound up buying more than just Pepsi (I admit, I had a craving for Beef Jerky), I'm not focused on my purchases, but rather the weather.

It is gorgeous for a November day. It's -2'C (28'F) and lightly snowing. Those of you who never see snow (except when it's already settled on mountain peaks) won't really understand what I'm talking about, but there's a difference...

This god damn update to Shaw Secure (my antivirus program) has turned my OS into fucking Windows Vista. Every fucking thing I do that involves the Internet now prompts an "allow this?" window to come up. Twice.

I am going to fucking destroy it if it doesn't fucking piss off. I don't care if that will leave me unprotected, I don't proscribe to the "trade liberties for security" mindset that has taken the world en-mass.

I apologize profusely for my lack of activity of late. My life has been hectic due to the fact that I've had to catch up on a bunch of things I let slide for too long.

I am still living in my one-bedroom apartment with the inconceivably obtuse and obnoxious neighbours, the only solace being my cat and Dave, who is excellent company in spite of anything I might have said about him in the past. I am through my midterms, and I wrote my Fundamentals of Insurance exam for work. I passed...

I'm watching my cat stalk a fly around the apartment. It's intensely amusing. I got distracted so many times writing my last blog because she kept pouncing and leaping into the air batting her paws about.

She actually just caught the thing between her paws a few seconds ago, but opened them up to inspect her catch and wound up letting the thing out again. Now she's under a chair, waiting to hear some indication as to where her prey has gone.
