I've given up on you
As more than often the sun gives up on the moon
More than often heavenly clouds give way to holy light
So I look towards a glimmering green
That turns to a mellow brown when my aura passes by
One mans love of life that so many can't have
You're the angel of gold that parts all black
Turning it a blinding white
An unfought fight you've won there's no denial
Take the bragging rights...

Hiding under covers from a monster in the closet
She's not a spook queen
Don't let her scare you into hiding
Knowing there's a cure for this
Can't quite be held back can you kid
No ones raining on your parade
So start screaming for the symphony

Screaming snakes and a rock hard glare
Make these poison lips
Algae fighting...

I out my pen to the paper to write lyrics, but poetry came out instead.
The sun overtakes the horizon
While the crowd storms in
It pierces the corner of your eye
While it surrounds you
Thoughts conceived through
Your eyes
The only color that
Doesn't scream out blue
Hold onto that feeling
As a passer by
They're truly watching you
She takes the other side
With such a gentle smile
Polite conversation
