Hey i'm Steph, i'm new here!

Alright so i was told to make a newbie thread heh...i'm steph and i'm 20 and go to UW-Madison majoring in dietetics/nutritional sciences. I'm getting over a heartbreak so i've been trying to get closer with myself recently. I love music, i play piano and guitar, and my favorites genre's are indie, i also like jam bands and classic rock.

I like to draw, write, take photographs and bike by our lake. I work as a barista at an independent coffee house and a smoothie maker at jamba juice.

i'm not sure what else to say heh

haha a barista is someone who works at a coffe place and makes all the drinks and uses the espresso machine etc.

ummm i was actually going into being a dance major at first because i danced for 17 years (ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical etc.) but the program wasnt' that great here...and i took a nutrition class and just really enjoyed it. i'm not really a health nut but now that i know what's good for me it's kinda engrained into me what i should be eating heh.

ummm i dont' really watch movies...i like tv shows more, i watch only some = flight of the conchords, arrested development, the office, it's always sunny etc. oh and i love gilmore girls.

Danny DeVito is the man! He is just as funny in real life as he is on camera. That guy is definitely a riot.

I was on set twice for a filming of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia." My boss came up to me and said "Hey Walt, wanna meet Danny with me." They were filming across the street from where my internship was! Despite the fact that I wasn't working on the set, it was still one of the best times I ever had. Just imagine a ton downed Jim Carrey, and you got Danny DeVito's personality.

I was going to point out that "indie" isn't a genre of music, but then I remembered that every douchefuck these days who calls themself "indie" is just prattling the same nonconformist bullshit that every other nonconformist "indie" douchefuck is prattling for reasons that ultimately elude them all as a whole. It's fucking stupid how ignorant and moronic people are these days. If you want to be independent, don't follow suit with every other moron who sings with as much teenage angst as they can muster in the hopes that someone will care about their whining.

It's like communism: in theory it's great, but in practice everyone just douchefucks it up.

I really like this new word I made, douchefuck... I'm going to go now and use it elsewhere.
