Wicca is not Satanism

ever since i switched my religion to wiccanisum ive been called a satanist by my family and by some of the people i meet. I

just as others do I study my religion like i should yet still the word satanist will be said to me. I know what satanist looks like i know the symbol but i dont wear that symbol i dont like to argue with others on their religions all I ask for is respect thats it. there are so many of us waiting for an awnser to what or who created us. Y should we trubble ourselves with the question when all we are here to do is live what life we have

ALL religions are a lie. They are a cozy little blanket people pull over their heads to block out the reality of just how ignorant and meaningless they are.

Well to be honest you will never be respected for you religion for the simple reason that people are simple minded and just judge automatically. I KNOW wiccan is was different then Satanism. Hell voodoo is not a bad religion too, it's just what the particular person makes of it. I know catholics that are evil because of how they portray it. Wiccan is about what you can see feel and touch. It is about using herbal remedies to cure ailments. Alot of the herbal stuff is ten times better then prescribed meds by doctors. We should use the resources we have hear on earth right in front of us. Praying to Manol ( can't slep sorry) which is like the god of earth or something, isn't wrong. NO ONE has the right to say if you don't practice what I do they way I do then your wrong. I garantee they will be judged for that someday. So for those people who need to make themselves feel better by hurting you or putting you down for your religion, JUST ignore them, they are to stupid to do research, so they need no explanation from you. If they actually took the time to read they would learn alot, but as you know people are just to lazy.

I say believe and do what you want. No one should judge you, but this world doesn't work like that and it doesn't suck. I like wiccanism and i'm athiest and i get crap about it all the time. It's the worst and people should mind their business about it. Besides, it's not their lives and we can do what we please. Other than that, what makes you think that other religions aren't all fake and based on lies? We don't exactly know who wrote the bible and all.

You are correct, people don't like what they don't understand. It is unfortunently the way it will always be. Many people are closed minded and would like for everyone to be the same. I myself don't have a religion but have studied many Wicca being one of them. Just some advice not to get on your case but wiccanism is not a word its correctly called Wicca just thought you should know because if your truly interested in Wicca you don't want to use that term around your fellow practitioners.

I Love you people. Your so open minded and understanding. But all that has been said is true. I guess you could call me a religion jumper because i don't stick to one. I experiment with all, some exceptions i suppose, and just like to see things through others eyes. I was born buhdist, baptised christain, raised by catholics and went to a catholic church, and since about 12 i have experimented with several other religions including Wicca. They all basically have the same principals but people refuse to see it. As someone else said earlier. It's not the religions themselves that are "evil/bad" but the people who portray and openly share their religion.

Either way you people are awsome!

i'm wiccan too... i get it every time i have to say my faith as a soldier, they like WTF is it... i try to not leason to them any more... even those i still stay to a point in catholic faith but i more of a praticing wiccan then any thing else...

for those who say wiccanisim is satanisum, well wiccans don't even believe in satan.
Evil comes from peoples actions, not from some "unholy" source. what a lot of people in the catholic and baptist religion don't realize is that alot of their holidays and practices actually come from pagans. The maypole, the easter eggs, the taking of bread. I mean duh. The church integrated these rights and customs because their were too many people that wouldn't give up their pagan rights. But as someone said earlier...people are lazy and won't do the research. They are close minded and blind to the truth. Be strong in your faith sister. May the Lord and Lady Bless and Protect you.

wait a minute! you mean to tell me that the easter bunny didnt resurrect jesus with his chocolate eggs after he died? next your gonna say that santa claus didnt raise jesus as if he were his own.

okay, enough humor. but the similarities dont end with the festivals. ever taken into consideration christianities angels and most other religions guardians, demigods, etc. seriously, commandments and credos, its all the same... their all the same. it makes no sense. the true power comes from within. how you bring it out depends on the amount of concentration and self discipline you have.
