Has anyone noticed?

Has anyone else noticed the sudden surge in the wiccan/ pagan faith? it seems as though everyone is seeing all of the other falsehoods in the organized religons and has looked for a new and self empowered way to exsit. it's as though an army is slowly building it way up. but for what purpose?

not only is it with in the people but it is also in the media. the movies that are coming out and have been coming out. the shows dealing with faeries and witchs and the like are for a younger and younger genreation. whitch in the states could be nothing more then the governments way to desecitze *sp?* ppl to the growing legions. if the christains and all the rest see it on tv then they will not take any of it seriously... it will just seem like a fad.

so i guess the purpose of this thread is to ask if anyone has any feelings of a war. like everyone is gearing up for something.

No, i don't think there will be a war. I think people are just started to see where all the other religions came from and that most of them are one in the same. Christianity was not popular when Christ was alive, and didnt become popular until Constantine turned Christianity into Rome's main religion overnight. Only 66 books are used in todays bible. There are 22 others that show how similar Christianity is to the Pagan religion, that were removed by the arch bishop of canterbury in 1885. Those 66 books make up the King James Bible, and the other 22 make up the book of Enoch. The book of Enoch was removed from the bible because the books did not fit the rest of the bible, they were not as organized and made the bible seem to contradict itself.I just think more people are starting to realize this, and ask questions, and people arent scared to question anymore, paganism is just starting to be recognized as an actual religion or faith and not as satanism and devil worship. The world is starting to grow up...

I think ppl are starting to join wicca and groups of that sort because it is a fad right now.
correct me if im wrong but in my observations most of the ppl joining that religion are mostl teens and young adults. ppl looking for a group to fit in, and they think theyre cool if there a witch or whatever. When I was in jobcorp all the ppl that practiced wicca you could tell were so fake. and dont get me wrong i believe the old ways are not a joke but the new wicca bullshit that everyone is into now is ppl following the masses

yea some of my friends are interested in paganism because they think that magic is cool.. so sad. the wiccan religion is really nice and peaceful i can see why people are interested in it.

it is really sad that it has become a fad.

i do not follow the religion but my aunt does and has her whold life and i think it is a very beautiful religion but there is so much you hav eto know about it to see the beauty but it is worth the time!

there will always be fads, you cant stop people from wanting to be liked and fit in.

I have not noticed it. Perhaps its just the area I am in but honestly I do not see it. I also do not think an army is building up. That is non-sense and Wiccans would not start a war. They do not even belive in preaching there beliefs or converting people. They belive that if the religion is for you then you will find it.

Wiccan is not a fad. The main reason why I switch to Wiccan is that most of the christian seem to do the oppitiste what they say. They say they are to love people no matter what, yet they tell those people that they are going to hell because they don't believe in the same thing they do.They think everyone but them are sinners. Jesus Christ was never like that. Jesus loved everyone, no matter what they did or what they believed in. Christians say that magic is evil and god does not like it. Show me where it says that. A lot of the Male leaders went to fortune-tellers for help. Christians say that all magic is of the devil. Well, i don't worship the devil. I worship God (who i believe is a woman, not a man) and Jesus Christ. I like to know why people didn't like Jesus was not a witch too. Jesus was able to enough fish and bread for a whole crowd, turn water to wine, walked on water, healed the sick, and raised a dead man back to life. There is no war. Wiccans don't like war. Wiccans also don't push their beliefs on anyone like Christians do. I am not saying I don't like Christian. I am just saying I don't want to be a part of something that looks down that people and don't fellow that they say.

So you switched your religion because you don't like what Christians say and do? Wouldn't it be better to chose a religion because you believe in it. By the way, the bible does say magick is evil and it even says to kill witches.

Exodus 22:18 "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live."

Leviticus 19:31 "Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God."

Leviticus 20:27 " A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them.' "

Well this generation come up is the crystaline children and are supposed to be born with there 3rd eye already waaay open from birth vs an indigo child like myself that needs to learn to open it. theres a big enlighenment coming up. I just hope it happens in this life so I see it.

Um. There is simply nothing behind it.
Most kids choose to be Pagan or Wiccan because they like witch craft.
I always thought that shit was bullshit but that is just me.
There was always the excuse of, "I cannot create a spell because it will turn on me seven fold."

If people wanted a religion to where they wanted it to be self based, they would be Satanists.

I found myself not too long ago and I have learned to love myself and the ones that mean something to me. I am not a Satanist though.
