Vampirism

Okay, I was very hesitant to post this but since some people seem interested here it goes.

I am going to explain what vampirism is. It is not really a religion so I posted it in this section. Vampirism is more of a condition. To define it simply it is basically like having spiritual a disability. It is basically when someone naturally has a imbalance of energies. In order to maintain balance they feed of the energies of others. Some get this through drinking of blood and others drain the energy through different means. I personally like to do it through blood but do not have to. I don't think it is necessary to do it through drinking blood but believe the ritualistic aspect makes it easier for some. The ones that get their energies through blood are sanguinarian vampires and the ones that get it through psychic means are psi vampires.

So now you might be thinking some of the following questions. I will just make a list of Q&A.

1. Do you believe you live forever?
No, we only believe the soul is immortal

2. Will a steak through the heart kill you?
No shit sherlock! It will kill you to.

3. Do you feed off people that are unwilling?
No, I always find a willing doner even if I am not feeding by blood. Most of us do the same but I cannot speak for everyone. Most of us follow a certain code of ethics.

4. Can you be around garlic?
Yep

5. can you fly?
Nope

6. Will the sun kill you?
No but for some reason a number of us seem to be more sensitive to it than most people. I personally don't have that issue. Except my eyes are very sensitive to light.

So, I hope you get the point by now. All of the glamorous mythology is not a part of vampirism.

I think this is a good start. I am willing to answer any questions and go into more detail.

I saw a special on this on the history channel. People not only drinking each other's blood but also feeding off of each others energy senses it was pretty weird.

...but I don't consider myself to be a 'vampire.'

My ex girlfriend and I would do some fucked shit but it was all sexual.
&& um...about the sun thing. She said something about how her friend was pale and would burn easily, I do that too.

I think a good way to explain this would be to try an compare it to a persons metabolism. Some have a higher metabolism than others and as a result they can eat more but not gain any weight. Everyones spiritual makeup is different as well. We use up our energies faster than the average person and therefore need to feed off others to keep a balance. This is why I said its like a spiritual disability or flaw. A very large number of us including myself believe in past lives. There are a few different theories as to why this might have happened but nothing I would hold as an certain truth.

I will say this though, when I do not feed for a while I get sick. I will not have much motivation and get headaches. My immune system will get weak and sometimes I will even end up getting sick and on meds. This happens to all of us with the condition that do not feed.

I recall a CSI episode where the suspect had such a condition.

I also recall a CSI episode with a guy who claimed to be a vampire, but was not even abnormal in any way.

In any case, this is really cool.
