It's surprising how much of the information rings true and branches off from what you've already learned to be true. But it's when they start talking about whales from other dimensions, it's like fuckin Star Trek 4 (A Voyage Home) all up in here.
Do you find one religion to have every answer you seek?

"New Thought" Is just a label. I agree with everything that was posted here on a personal level, but I've never even heard of this title before. A name isn't everything. Also, let's not forget the title "New Age" covers anyone who chooses not to mold themselves into a preconceived religious and/or spiritual box. Yes there are crazy people classified as new age, but there are also plenty of crazy people classified as Christians, Buddhists, Muslims, Hindis, etc etc ad naseum.

The human species is done evolving, yes I agree. However, as far as not evolving at all I can't agree. As a species now, we are picking up random and obscure genetic traits, ones that may not even be fully manifested yet. However, under the right conditions, with the right catalyst, humanity could easily be propelled into a new stage in the evolution of the world, and two divergent species arising from homo sapiens could begin to appear, while humanity as we know it dies out. Totally possible and probable, it's just a matter of when.

Also, check out this article here.

Maybe it has something to do with the physical evolution of humanity, but that is not what I got from Girl's post. I got an impression that it had to do with the evolution of thought, and how when one thought gets out there it adds to a collective of thoughts where it becomes easier for others to accept into their own consciousness as one belief or another. Though I have not given much thought to a collective conscious it is something else for me to ponder about and look into. I like these new thoughts I am being exposed to...they make me happy!

hahaha glad you are so joyful

Personally, I agree with you. I think the next stage of evolution for humanity is not simply a physical one, but an intellectual and spiritual one, whatever that means and however that may play out. It could be ESP and telekinetic abilities, it could be evolving beyond the 3 dimensional walls we live in, or it could be as simple as being able to not act like assholes to each other all the time and having more empathy and forgiveness.

As long as we're on this subject, I decry any kind of synthetic evolution, like implanting of nanotechnology or computer chips into people's bodies/brains as a means of advancing the human race. It may seem like a good idea, but my gut tells me that earth and the universe have handled evolution pretty well up to this point, and we should be patient to allow the next stage to occur naturally. I think any forced attempt would end badly one way or another.

I saw what the Borgs did on star trek.......

I feel that way too. I get to know so many people from different backgrounds and nationalities, it's really cool.
