Jews and the temple
Since the Jews do not believe that Jesus is the messiah...
and their temple has been destroyed for about 2000 years....
wouldn't that mean by their own standards they are all going to hell because they cannot make atonement for their sin every year...?

So you're basically saying there's only one temple in the entire world where all the Jews can go to ask for forgiveness, and since it's been destroyed for 2,000 years, all of the Jews are going to hell? Did I read that right?

1. I was asking a question....
2. Yes, there "was" only one temple and they have never rebuilt it...
3. By the Old Testament, you ask for forgiveness when you sacrifice an animal to cover your sin for the year.
Well this wasn't just any temple, this temple was the literal site of God's presence in the world....now seeing as there was an animal sacrifice at this temple to atone for the sins of all of the Jews every year.....there sins aren't forgiven..
Also by extension because they do not sacrifice animals anymore to atone for their sins (because of not having a temple to do it in)....how are their sins being forgiven?
Because by scripture, you would stop the animal sacrifices after the coming of the messiah. Now seeing as the messiah has not come...that's a bit of a problem. So they are left with no temple, altar, sacrifices or priests....only Rabbi's (Teachers) and the synogogue where they meet at for teachings.

Just another hole I guess, I'm not familiar enough with the subject to have a good answer...

I don't know much about it but from what I understand Judaism often does not teach much about the afterlife. Some Jews don't even believe in a place called hell. For the ones that do not believe in hell then by their own standards that is not where they would go. They still believe in an after life for the good or the bad but not necessarily a "hell" as know by Christians. The afterlife is not their main focus. I don't think the Torah goes into great detail about the afterlife.
I also decided to look some stuff up and came across this. It might help give you a better idea of how they see the afterlife.

I'm not entirely certain about the deeper tenets of Jewish faith, but I believe there are other Jewish temples where Jews take up their faith.
I haven't heard of much animal sacrificing in the local ones, though.

judaism has evolved over time so that local rabbis and synagogues have taken importance since the destruction of the temple and the decline of the sanhedrin.
I'm not entirely sure about forgiveness of sins, but I think I remember reading once that there is a weeklong (?) holiday in their calendar that is about atonement for one's sins. If I can find the info I'll post it on here.

Yom Kippur is the day of Atonement. Sukkot, their harvest festival, follows it. All together the celebration lasts about a week. This happens late Septemberish (it shifts, as it follows the Jewish calendar, not the Gregorian calendar).
Most Jews do not believe in hell, they believe in Sheole, the land of the dead. They also believe in transmigration of souls (reincarnation) as the soul is eternal, and only it's physical casing changes. Earth is a testing ground to make your soul fit for reunion with God. I mentioned this on another thread.
Don't you and the Jews supposedly worship the same god Pianist? How can their god be trapped in a destroyed temple but still be the same god that is your all powerful deity?
I'm not trying to rag on your beliefs, I just don't understand. Your OP doesn't seem rational to me.

pretty much we believe Jesus was God son on earth and God himself, but they do not believe that, as well as the rest of the new testament, they just believe in the old testament, so yea thats what separates us
