Personally, I believe she was married to Christ, and they had babies.
What do you think? Was she just a reformed prostitute, or something more?

i'd also have to agree that they were married and that they did have children. You can't really say in truth if she was either though, it's just all opinion and beliefs now.

ist great you think that.... just dont believe it if it came from the da vinci code.... because a lot of people are actually takeing the book seriously.... and its dumb. if you believed it in the first place sweet.... just.... dont believe the book.

according to the Bible, if you care, Mary M was a woman whom was possessed by demons. this mary is not the prostitute

i do not believe jesus and mary magdalene married and had children.......i havent been able to find anything like that in the bible....but if anyone has anything the have found that would be pretty sweet to see....yah and like tyler said, the da vinci code is fiction.

the reason i dont think the married and had kids is cause i dont think jesus would have wanted some people to think that they were better than others because they were related to him. cause no one is better than anyone else..........if there were peoples decended from him than others might consider them like gods or something like that and that wouldnt be cool.....

anyways thats my thoughts on that..

I completely agree with "Kells" that talked about how Mary Magdalene was not a prostitute but possessed by demons. For those of you that believe he was married and had children where do your theories come from. Anybody can say whatever they want about Jesus but it doesn't make it true. We have to be careful and really study the bible if we want to have a say on controversial matters. Someone who truly is trying to learn about God, Jesus, the bible, faith can be really confused by people who just say unproved statements such as these. I am all for freedom of speech and all, but just pointing out, we should lstudy first before we say things that could be false and have an impact on weaker christians, especially about Jesus.

I think Jesus did have kids, just not sure with whom. I just find it hard to believe that he could have been celibate his whole life. Plus, it's not like they had methods of birth control back then. Chances are, if he did have kids, that it was with Mary Magdalene since she was supposedly present for Jesus' crucifixion in it's entirety and I just think that that shows her love and dedication to Jesus as more of a lover than a follower.

Someone said that they couldn't find reference to Jesus being married in the bible...Of course you won't. If Jesus was married that would make him "less godly" It would humanize him rather than make him the son of god if that makes sense. Personally, I think he probably was married. There were a lot of social stigmas on unmarried men during that time period and he wouldn't have been allowed near women or children if he had been unmarried. Some could argue that by saying he was the son of god so there for given a different set of rules but in response to that I say don't forget Christianity wasn't really prevalent during the time that Jesus actually lived.
