There is this guy that works in our shop and he usually wears these t-shirts about Christianity and yadda yadda.
Well today his shirt stood out more than all of the others and made me realize how fucked up some people get with religion.

His shirt said:
Pray or DIE!!!

First off, I can be a smart ass and say, "So, if I play...I won't die?"
Then I can be normal about it and think about what kind of message people are trying to deliver by making these shirts? Why do people make shit like that?
Why do people buy it?

...but most of all:
WHAT THE FUCK?!

Now that is disturbing and so Christian like. So is that supposed to be his way of saying if you don't pray he will kill you. Maybe he just has a odd sense of humor or perhaps he did it for the attention.

Actually, we have a lot of tweekers and druggies that work for us so I don't think he meant anything by it...I just think he doesn't have anything else to wear.
They seemed to be like those kind of shirts that you get for free.

...because, I mean, where do you buy shit like that?

I have no idea where you buy it but I do know I would be embarrassed to wear something like that. Although I might wear it just to confuse people because it would so throw them off. Pray or die t-shirt with my occult jewelry. That would be....amazingly odd.

It is not "so Christian". It is so ridiculous. But it's not so Christian. It's stupid, and I don't even know where he is getting that idea from, anyway, nor do I have any idea why he would be it, or any other "Christian" clothing, anyway. Good design communicates it's message without screaming.

Theres this guy that lives down the street from my boyfriend that has this jeep wrangler. It says "Repent.. or.. HELL!!!!!!!!" and has a "make a choice, forgive or BURNNNN!!" sticker on it. He's also got one of those signs that you can change the letters and re-arrange them facing the main street with all sorts of fun stuff. He stands on the street dressed as Jesus with a huge cross. Everyday it makes me remember how I would hate to be such an asshole in society.

That has to be the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Why on Earth would anyone MAKE a shirt like that in the first place?

Idiots like that make me sick. I hate the fact that so many people who claim to be Christians are so unloving, rude, judgemental and hypocritical. It makes me almost EMBARRASSED to share beliefs with them.
