i dont really think either one is right. i dont really think anyone has a firm grip on religion or the origin of the world or anything. you see, i have this theory. i think that when god handed over his original handbook, i believe that it was totally complete. without all the gaps and missing parts any religious document has. and, well, man being the idiot that he be, dropped that original hand book and it broke into hundreds of pieces. everybody wanting their own piece took one. mans inability to work with one another kind of screwed us here. instead of putting all the pieces back together, they took their piece and centered their religion on that basis. and through time and space and what have you, each person that became the guardian of the documents, made whatever change they felt like to warp and twist society into what they thought it should be. so, in theory everyone is right and wrong at the same time. i know thats kind of off beat, but ill get back on track. in regards to the original post, i think that scientists have their rightful place in the scheme of things. for the most part their beneficial, even when the results of their work are catastrophic. but i think they need to steer clear of the whole creation theory. thats not their realm, and i feel that any attempt to scientifically classify, categorize, or explain creation is: A. selfish and B. borderline blasphemous. but as far as us trying to make some correlation between our standards of time and the creators, would be impossible. i mean, the creator is eternal. our lifespans arent even blinks in comparison, so how could we measure time the same?
