Yeah. I wore my shades and slept through half the service, too. I was mainly going because they were going immediately from the church to a big brunch out of town, and it was either I get up at 8 in the morning (after getting to sleep at 5 am because I was working) and see them again before they leave town [after brunch], or don't see them again for another four or five months and have missed saying good-bye.

Absolutely hilarious, isn't it? I love my family (despite any bigotry they may harbor) and am willing to be a total heretic and take my proudly-homosexual ass into a church for the sake of honouring the lovely grandparent-grandson bond they spent hours on the road driving between cities to build.
I feel like laughing, does anybody else feel like laughing?
