To my knowledge there were no Supreme Court rulings regarding the unconstitutional nature of the insurrection into the Middle East. Given that the Supreme Court just released a stinging rebuke to Bush's denial of
habeas corpus to the detainees of Guantanamo Bay, I am not surprised that the Bush administration hasn't brought their pivotal campaign before other parties.
As for my familiarity with the U.S. Constitution, my point was that I'm not a U.S. citizen and therefore I have no business knowing the Constitution better than a resident of the U.S., and it's a little shameful on the part of the person who's law it is who doesn't know it better than a foreigner.
To be honest, I haven't gone much into it myself given that I follow the Canadian Constitution (most prominently the Chartar of Rights And Freedoms) and not the United States Constitution.
