What about inflation?

People talk all day about health care and abortion but what about inflation?

Inflation is an underated problem and its actually not as hard to cut as people think...it just takes some effort and commitment to fix.

Well the other ones "talk" about it, in the sense they mention the economy....and that they want it to be good.

But Ron Paul is the only candidate seriously taking on this issue, imo.

I can't stand Giuliani.

I do find hero worship of any politician a bit disturbing though.

Well i can tell you that none of us "worship" Ron Paul. For the most part we agree with most, if not all, of his major policies and standpoints on issues, and we admire him for them.

Someone who cares enough about his country and personal freedoms to share it with others while constantly being made fun of certainly seems like a good candidate to be a hero to me

Ron Paul's good, but if I don't hero worship alleged divine powers, I certainly am not presumptuous enough to worship worldly people, regardless of how much admiration I have for them.

Mind you, I admire lots of stuff. I admire the temerity of the Bush administration, it takes balls to pull the shit they do. I still hate them and wish them a fate worse than death (no better than what they deserve), but wow... those assholes do shit so monstrous it's insane.

You can cut inflation by having the Federal Reserve Bank increase interest rates.....Problem would be solved....But the recession we are going to have will hit harder.

We are already in the begining phase of recession.

To answer the main question, why doesn't the government talk about inflation besides Ron Paul? Well for one if they address the problem then they would have to solve it which they will not do. It is also a hidden tax that is wiping out the middle class which they do not want to address. If they also do address inflation then the government would have to change its spending habits overseas which they do not want.
