The video...it's a propaganda video.
I like the song in it. If you're going to give me propaganda, at least put it to a tune I like. Kudos to the makers of that vid.
It shows the puffs of smoke....the "plumes" which has been debunked so many times it's not funny. Suffice it to say "plumes" of smoke show nothing more than the building was full of air. Why can't they be explosives? Well...if they are you couldn't hear them for some reason...no camera picked up the sounds of the charges going off (demo charges are very loud) No seismographs showed anything......and as the building collapsed closer to the puff, it would accelerate. It was getting bigger and faster....that's not what an explosive would do. If was air pressure forcing out debris from the building.
They then show a controlled demolition expert, demonstrating that they cut the steel beams at an angle. Then it shows a picture of a beam in the rubble...cut at that angle. This is used a lot by conspiracy theorists, and it is flat out dishonest. That beam was cut....but it was cut after the building had collapsed. The buildings came down, and a lot of the aftermath (specifically giant pieces of metal) were dangerous to workers cleaning up. So they had to cut a lot of them. One of them is in that picture that gets used all the time by conspiracy theorists.
Also. Showing the controlled demolition expert is kind of dishonest as well. His opinion isn't used or anything....but his presence in the video is meant to lend credibility to the claims, and it is a pretty dishonest tactic. Not the first dishonest tactic used by people who claim to be seeking "truth" though.
They then show Pearl Harbor...but then I get confused.
A symbol for "no child left behind" a magazine cover, a football field and an I-pod. This is also common of conspiracy theorists. They elevate themselves as "above" the rest of our culture. They build an ivory tower for themselves and they insult everyone and everything else...much like a cult in a lot of ways. If it's not a cult, it is very much a click. You'll hear them insult the American public a lot, saying "they don't read" (when youtube started counting as 'reading' I don't know) they're blind and unaware of this secret society that controls everything, but I stand opposed to it. I'm a rebel...etc. You can see how it could have appeal, specifically with young males.
Then they get into the "North American Union" stuff...which again. Old hat.
And then they give a quote from Paul Warburg about "World government" but it is, pretty vague. Which is why conspiracy theorists like it. I don't know what he was referring to or for what purpose, but I do know that Warburg lived in a time where there was a lot of debate about the League of Nations, to the United Nations....etc.
And then it ends with an eye, telling you to wake up. Which of course. Why didn't I see before....I need to be indoctrinated through Youtube.
The end.
