Sick....

I just had a talk with my sister and it made me think of how sick and stupid some people are. She decided that she wants to join the marines. I told her she might have to kill innocent people and her response was. I don't care, I have no problem killing Innocent people. I said she was a sick fuck and then she had a fit. If she told me she wanted to join to protect her country then thats fine. What scares me is how people join so they can go kill people. Killing people is not a good reason to join the military. I don't think I can even recognize her as my sister after that. All I see is a sick, twisted, terrorist corrupted by the US.

She better not return thinking why the government threw her ass back on the street without her giant paycheck while complaining about having post-traumatic stress disorder.

Shes not smart enough to do that.....

I don't think she will get PTS because shes already excited about killing innocent people apparently. You should see the marines she hangs out with. I support soldiers that want to protect the country. I do not support terrorist that have no problem killing anyone. I also do not support idiots joining because their poor excuse for a solider marine friends tell them to. There is nothing "cool" about joining the military just to go kill people.

If she leaves here with that attitude I don't know if I can feel bad for her if she does not return. I know shes my sister but what gives me the right to be upset if she dies when shes out there happy to kill innocent people? Hate to tell her but if she dies I will not be at her funeral.

That reminds me of a group of Marine reserves who came up to a friend and I in the middle of Target. We were just looking for a movie to bring home, and three of those fucks just pretty much corner us.

"Hey, do you like video games?"

We respond with, "Uh... sure."

"Want to shoot some real people?"

That just pissed me off, but I decided not to respond to them anymore. They were too disgusting to talk to, but I have no idea why I even gave them my attention. Although I did just kind of censor out most of their relentless babbling.

It is indeed sick and twisted when all people can think about when joining the military is picking some poor fellow off in the chest with a bullet. My thoughts on any form of military has seriously changed after that incident. Fuck 'em.

Another thing is the people that actually listen to the recruiting people. My sister is one of them. She will actually tell me that they "care" about her. How stupid would you have to be to think they actually care about you. Your just one small face in an ocean of people. One more expendable human life.

I've always wanted to flip-off one of those stupid recruiters that always came to our high school.

People would take the pens, pencils, footballs, key chains, etc., but not actually give a shit about the Army or the Navy or the whatever. So that was amusing enough. Fuckin' bribing kids that can't even vote yet.

That's the problem with the world today, people don't think anything of killing. They're too entangled in their own skewed notions of right and wrong that they devalue the lives they would valiantly protect if circumstances -- CIRCUMSTANCES -- were different.

Maybe I'm just cynical, but people are fucking retarded.

How old is your sister?

You really should try to talk some sense into her before she goes through with her decision, if she's one of those type that just will not listen no matter what, don't waste your time, and I wish her the best, but if you can reach her or get through to her now, you should definitely try or you might regret it later. You have to remember that not everyone is strong enough or smart enough to see past all the lies and misconceptions about our world and how it works, some people need help and if you can offer that help to anyone, especially a family member, you should!

Shes not the type you can talk to. If you don't agree with her she gets mad first and violent next. Bad as it may sound sometimes I'm afraid to come near her after shes blown up about something. It's really hard to explain her but she can be nuts in a scary way. To put it simple though if she does not want to hear it she will take it to the point of violence.

If I were in your shoes, I would do two things:

- You can't talk to your sister, so don't. She doesn't have to speak for you to make a point. Tell her that you care for her and that you do not want anything bad to happen to her, but if she insists on going to Iraq just so she can shoot innocent women and children, then she is no better than the people who bombed the WTC in your eyes and that if she doesn't come back you won't be at her funeral. And then just walk away, don't even give her a chance to say anything back.

- Get some friends together with a few bats and smack each and every one of her Marine friends across the face so hard that it either knocks some sense into them or it gives them a month of eating through a straw to think about what they've done. For a sense of irony you can throw in some dialogue like... "I heard you bragging about killing innocent people, telling other kids how cool and fun it is... well I thought I'd give it a try." of course you don't kill them, whats the point of teaching them a lesson if they're dead, but people like this you cannot reason with, the only thing they understand is pain, and just like you teach a dog its wrong to piss in the house, you do the same with scum bags like that.

I don't know how your relationship is with your sister, but I can tell you this. If someone corrupted my younger brother on a level like that, I wouldn't hold back anything, and I wouldn't let my brother go to Iraq even if it meant breaking his legs.
