Yea thats right. I havent heard anything about it before today but toay in my school we have WWII vets and one of them was there and he wrote abook about it. Its By Bill Montaghu (I think) iforget the title. but basically 9 ship loaded with gas and ammo exploded killing 129 amd wounding 900 on May 21, 1944. And our govt kept underwraps till16 years after. ANd then they wouldnt give pension with thoes involved because they denied it. So yea i was just wondering if any of knew of it? i mean hell i met a guy who was there and he told us all about it. Man the shit our govt does.

Yea I learned about this several years ago. It's very unfortunate, and one of the reasons why it's not very well known is because we weren't attacked, it was due to "undetermined" problems when loading all the fuel, etc.

Basically the same reason why you never hear big reports on "friendly-fire" incidents
