Since I mentioned this in another thread I figured it could use it's own topic.

"But Clinton's top aides on Wednesday morning continued to sidestep questions about when she would suspend her campaign, even as some of her supporters began ratcheting up pressure on Obama to take her on as his running mate.

Robert Johnson, a prominent Clinton-backer and the founder of Black Entertainment Television, said Wednesday on CNN's "American Morning" that he planned to enlist members of the Congressional Black Caucus to push Obama to accept Clinton as his vice presidential nominee, adding that Clinton had not directed his efforts but was aware of them.

Johnson argued that an Obama-Clinton ticket would have the best chance of winning in the general election and would help unify the Democratic Party."

GOD...I hope that doesn't become reality...

I think that's unlikely. They've been using total smear tactics the entire campaign against eachother (much more from Hillary's side that's for sure), and I think a lot of the Obama supporters would feel sort of deceived in a way, they've been going the entire campaign all "fuck Hillary, Obama is gonna kick her white ass back to NY" now that he's officially won, if he turned around and asked her to be the VP, I personally think that would seriously damage his political appearance to a lot of the public, and infact would have the opposite affect, and seperate the democratic party even more.
