I just notice that a lot of top advisors have resigned from their positions. Just wondering what everyone's take on it is...




Senior Bush adviser Karl Rove left in August, White House press secretary Tony Snow resigned in September and White House counselor Dan Bartlett stepped down in June. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, another member of Bush's inner circle, resigned under pressure in August. Most recently Fran Townsend, Homeland Security advisor, has just announced her resignation.

Happens alot in the bush admin it seems people quit/leave...turn around rate is highh...fema, homeland security, secretary of state etc. all changed under bush.

IMO it's damage control. It satisfies the people who want to see Bush gone, thinking that if they remove one person that somehow the next person (who is still appointed by Bush) will somehow be better.

I think it has been a way to keep impeachment off the table and try and subdue the masses.

You don't honestly believe these people are actually out of the picture just because they're out of the public eye do you?
