Could this be true?!
I was watching a video on youtube just now, and the guy said in our bill of rights, it says we could start a political party and call it the marijuana party and sell weed to people, and it would be legal. He said the republican party sells republican ideas for profits, the liberals sell liberal ideas and profit, so the marijuana party could sell marijuana and profit for the party...lol, could this possibly be true?

No. By that logic you could start the Murder Party and 'sell' murder for profit. Parties only 'sell' ideas in as much as they try to convince people to vote and donate. They can't charge membership and they certainly aren't pushing a physical commodity or service (well, I guess they are kinda, but people are going to get it whether they like it or not). You could start a party that's sole purpose is to elect people who will legalize marijuana and that isn't illegal, but you can't do something illegal without risking punishment.

Yeah... what WillyBubba said..... starting a political party with certain words in the title doesn't change the laws regarding those words. Otherwise, I'd start the 'you get 500 dollars every time you bite someone's ear off' party. Vote for Tyson '08!

Don't trust that guy on anything about consitutional law. He claims a statute that allows political parties to make profits, enables him to sell weed?? Is that what he's trying to say?

lol yeah, I think that's what he was trying to say. But dude, look how stoned the guy is...lol. I thought it was an interesting idea, I didn't take it very seriously. Plus he was out on the streets doing it himself apparently. lol, must be nice to live in Canada...
