Menlo Park, California Tom Biscardi, CEO BIGFOOT BODY FOUND - EVIDENCE AND DNA DETAILS TO BE PRESENTED AT A PRESS CONFERENCE ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 15th FROM 12 N00N TO 1:00PM AT THE CABANA HOTEL-PALO ALTO IN PALO ALTO, CALIFORNIA A body that may very well be the body of the creature commonly known as “Bigfoot” has been found in the woods in northern Georgia.

Really, myths about Bigfoot have been around since before 1840, when Elkanah Walker heard about it from the Lacotah tribe, who knew it as Chinye-tanka (Big Elder Brother). I'm no more inclined to believe them than I am to believe in the Jersey Devil, the Chupacabra, the Loch Ness Monster, or any other Cryptozoological creature. My point is, if they existed, they would have been found already. We have enormous resources at our disposal to locate things (please nobody bring up how Bin Ladin has apparently been able to "elude" detection, for I will slap you), a creature such as Bigfoot would not be able to avoid being located for over one hundred and fifty years. This thing is probably a gorilla that escaped from a zoo.

Well you said it, this tribe (and many, if not all Native Tribes) it had been known...that means there have been myths about it much longer...even the south american people's had a myth about it. I guess you could say it is much like the dragon where there are many many different cultures that had a belief in it. As for me if there is proof (though I am holding my breath!) than YAY!!! Its always possible for things to be missed...though I would have thought it being found some where like western Canada because of how much forest is up there. Anyway I like to keep my mind open about things...so there is my two cents
