Dang... thats some fucked up shit. I mean how can people be mad at athiest. First i don't think that anyones seen god. Second they said that 97 percent of people believe in god, but everyone has their own oppinion of what they believe god is. Live and let live!

I doubt 97% of people believe in God. That sounds inaccurate in my opinion.

I've never heard a statistic that high. The highest I've ever heard is around 80-85% and that's still questionable, as most statistics are.

I think its peoples own decison on what they believe. If they dont believe that everything was Created by something then thats their choice. I think everyone trys to understand about who and what God is.

I do believe people are mislead through dreaming. I think everyone can determine what their dreams are trying to show them. I also belive that the Anti-God will show itself to you and tell you to do evil deeds in Goods Name.

From what I have experienced. I believe in Heaven. I also believe in people of Paradise. The people that want to live in peace. I would rather be the solution to the nightmare, then the nightmare itself.

I prefer to take out the trash. Then let it stink up the house.

I believe in seperation of religion and state. Entirely. Especially in public schools.
Don't get me wrong, the Bible has some good values, but if the country were to suddenly adopt The Iliad as the unofficial national book, have 'In Zeus we Trust' in the Declaration, and have prayers to the Greek Pantheon in public schools... THE CHRISTIANS/JEWS WOULD HAVE A FUCKING FIELD-DAY!
Why? They don't believe in that at all!

So what the fuck is so different when it comes to atheists resenting such things?

i dunno about 97% of people believing in a god but i do think that there is a really low number of people who are willing to say "i dont think there is any god at all". i think a lot of people are "spiritual" (whatever that is, lol) or like they just go to church without really thinking about it or investing anything in it emotionally.
