lol, I actually found that funny and I am a Pagan. I did find the first one stereotypical since I don't even do drugs but it was funny. Most pagans I have known wont even bother arguing their beliefs. I think the majority of us could care less what anyone believes and since we don't have a God telling us to make people believe in it we could care less what anyone thinks. No one can prove or know they are right.

Well pagans arent supposed to force there beiefs on anyone anyway, its one of the first rules.

Now that I've watched the second video, I think it's his weakest one. Many of the things he says are just ridiculous. "Hippie-looking goth bullshit"? And paganism has nothing to do with emo kids. Another thing, I'm sure a lot of kids get into paganism to seem "mysterious," but people like that are the same kinds of people who claim to be in the Church of Satan and that Satan is their Dark Lord; they're just immature and don't actually understand what they're talking about. I dunno, it just seems like Brett is using a straw man argument here. He makes this extremely satirized version of a pagan and acts like it represents the religion as a whole.

I have to agree that it is definately a weaker argument on his part.
I'm friends with several Wiccans (a pagan religion, depending on how you classify), and they don't speak to trees or anything funky like that... in fact, they're the least oppressive religion I know of.
1) Everyone is welcome.
2) Do what you want, so long as nobody is harmed by it.
3) Respect the Earth, it sustains life.

Well, that's my understanding of the principles... anyone care to add anything?

I will add, though, that there is a large number of people who adopt such religions purely for the attention and really have no belief in it whatsoever. So I can see the point Brett was trying to make.

There are some Wiccans that will tell you that you can't be Wiccan unless you go through initiation. Some will even tell you that to be Wiccan you need to join a coven. It really depends but for the most part they are welcoming. Except a large number of the Dianic Wiccans. They belive woman are better than men and a male cannot even practice Dianic wicca. Most of the the Dianic Wiccans are really just a bunch of feminist.

well your supposed to have a piest AND a priestess to symbolize the mother earth and father sky buuuut thats what I was taught. (and also find it kinda dumb cause weather our shell has a dick or not lets you pratice magik and more powerful if you dont have 1 bwhaha yeah ok)
