I agree with a lot of what this guy says, least about the stuff in the bible.

As for Christians saying that I am taking things out of context, I have never really had that. they either tell me that god was doing this as punishment for some transgression against him or they get really emotional and hurl themselves into this rant and start preaching.

It's important to understand the context of anything you read. People use foolish arguments to win people over instead of trying to express God's love and grace... sorry that they do, but they are human, afterall.
