Does Atheism make sense?

Atheists seem to rely on science for all of their answers about the world. Atheists also believe flat out that no God exists and there was no creator. Now if they believe in science how can they possibly believe this? I've never understood such a contradictory thing about them. It would actually make more sense for them to be Agnostic than to be Atheist.

becouse god didnt make the earth it was the big bang theroy , and everything just evolved from that. nothing was just set on earth it was all evolved over time .

but that is just what i get from it .

athiests, such as myself, might actually be placed in sub-"religions," such as scientology. we believe in no gods or dieties, but in other means of creation, such as the big bang theory (which, i might add, they're getting a shitload closer to actually proving, for anyone who doesnt already know). i'm one such individual. personally, it doesnt make much sense to me to believe in any dieties, whether you're christian, wiccan, pagan, doesnt matter. you could try explaining your beliefs to me, just as much as i could to you, and neither would make a whole lot of sense. my advice, stick to something that sounds reasonable to you. it doesnt have to be one of these mainstream religions i detest so much, either (mainstreams are usually organized religions that tell you you need to do this and that to go to heaven, nirvana, whatever. note that i said usually.), but something you come up with yourself. just as long as it makes sense.

Big bang theory points to a creator. Energy is neither created nor destroyed (by normal means) Where did this orginal matter and energy come from? Seeing as all things in this universe have a beginning in the big bang you can see where I am going with this.

Thus pointing to the deity you do not believe in...

Like, you wouldnt believe a painting just randomly came out of nowhere it had to be painted....correct?

God created the Big Bang.... and is the only thing we know that fits the criteria to do so.
