Throat Burns

ok mods if it don't belong here, please move it...

I was wondering...if lit ash from the pipes hit the back of your throat...does it actually burn it and leave scars like when you burn your skin? or is it different somehow? I kinda think it would burn the back of my throat...but I don't feel as it does, kinda wierd...if it does my throat is fucked up...

i dont think its hot enough. the moisture is enough to put it out. unless youve been smoking for a while and have some extreme cotton mouth then... still probable not.
