Welcome To The Flame Board

Anyone who has been on a forum before is probably familiar with the concept of a Flame Board. If not, this section can be concisely described as where you 'shoot the shit'. Unlike the rest of the forum, you are welcome to flame, curse excessively, and otherwise bitch without all the standard rules.

While decorum isn't highly regarded in this section, we still do not tolerate pornographic content or otherwise explicit material that makes the forum liable. Such content will be deleted without warning and the poster punished according to the moderator's discretion.

Small complaints (ex. misplaced car keys again, forgot to eat lunch, lost a game of hearts against the computer) can be directed to the "General Complaints" thread. Larger complaints (ex. got fired because of a douche-bag boss whilst experiencing financial troubles, broke your leg on your way to a hot date and ran out of insurance, found out you have cancer) warrant a new thread. Remember, we have a Blog feature to the website that really doesn't deserve to be neglected. In short, use your own discretion, but don't be surprised if a tiny complaint gets moved to the General Complaints thread by an equally pissed-off moderator.

While there are generally no restrictions on what you complain about, the Beast Toast Staff retains the right to close threads at our discretion (ex. flaming a mod for moving one of your threads, or a general flame about how much you hate Beast Toast, or a copy of a previous rant you made). We also reserve the right to merge rants about the same topics at our discretion, and simply delete incoherent rants that disregard a standard for spelling and grammar. You can babble incoherently in your diary away from people who would read your rant, or claw out their eyes in the attempt.

While these rules cover nearly every imaginable offense, exceptions do arise and the Beast Toast Staff reserves the right to use our discretion when and if the need arises.

Oh hai! Just to let you guys know, the BeastToast Staff have reached the decision that this place will be reserved exclusively for arguments between members. Believe me, I'm just as unhappy about it as you are, but unless I want to be declared the 4th Axis of Evil, invaded, and occupied, I am not going to go up against democracy.

So, regretfully, I'm going to have to ask everyone to limit long rants to the handy Blog feature. It's there, after all, so you might as well use it. I'm also going to ask that people refrain from flaming me for delivering the bad news, as I'm simply the messenger, and I happen to be as unhappy with it as you are. I will, however, unhesitatingly delete any posts that violate this forum's rules, so don't test my limits. And God help you if you flame me for doing my job...
