Ok,so the other day I had just got off a mission when I decided to go back to my tent and listen to some music.Well I turned on some classical (I remember it was a lilting, sad melody that of witch I cant remember the name of right now,Ill look it back up later if anyone is interested.) when one of the other people who sleeps near me asked to hear it.So I give him the headphones and he listens for like 10 seconds and gives my the headphones back and says "Do you listen to that while your eating people, hannibal?". I said nothing,I felt bad for this individual who couldent enjoy a beautiful song, something you dont sing along to or try to understand...You just be quiet and reflect.Just because it isnt "rap" or "metal" doesent mean it can be the most beautiful song on the planet.Something that grabs your soul and can calm down the most evil emotions in the world shouldent be brushed off as "hannibal stuff".It should be respected, its the most pure form of art in the world.
For me its something that can take the "evil" away from this war for a few moments at least.

Its a real shame what people are missing when it comes to music, nowadays. I mean, some people can become so closed minded about it that they won't know a good song if it were to sit in their lap and call 'em daddy.
*sighs* Go figure.

^^ As he strums his "spanish guitar". Thank you, Toni Braxton.
I like all kinds of music, but if I needed something to listen to just to calm down and take the stress away..I would listen to classical.
And actually...I have caught myself humming along to it, and people look at me like I'm crazy, but whatevs.

You know, I like listening to classical music because when I do I can close my eyes and it just fills my mind with something else. Sometimes I see animals on a mountain or a valley and sometimes I see people and sometimes just colors. I love how it relaxes me and takes me away from everything.

yup.
and also i love oldies, like Guy Lombardo and Frank Sinatra and Michael Crawford and of course Elvis. I am glad there are singers like Tyler Hilton, Jamie Cullum and Michael Buble, and even (well not currently) Jeff Buckley. His song Lilac Wine sounds like something Elvis would have sung. It certainly evokes him.
omg! Ol' Blue Eyes! Michael Crawford???? Elvis?????? **passes out**
Come on! You're killin me here! I don't even have these artsts on my Zune but, they're all over my Winamp at home and...and...*sniffles* I can't listen to them since I'm at work!

Ah,now I remeber the composer,it was by Franz Shubert.Im still not sure of the song though...Ugh....I can ALMOST remember the name.I too enjoy frank sinatra though.Great voice.
I love classical music more than anything but I also like heavy metal,I think they both display the emotions that they are meant to portray.

I would have replied "Yes" and then pointed my gun at him and said "not so funny now, is it? No, no, don't move, you might upset my aim and inflict a non-mortal, but very painful wound. Let me hit you right between the eyes, that way the rest of your body isn't spoiled. I bet you will taste good with a little sea salt and Thousand Island dressing..."
