Just to be correct Fort montgomery was not finnished until after the civil war was never fully manned but is an exceptional structure to frtification after the war and very few left unchanged or not upgraded those years saw many changes in fortification along the coast this is on although mostly destroyed hold a lot of available information on a fort that never saw anym upgrades
