So what exactly is going on in this situation?
So I'm working the other day and two girls come in and sit down, after a while one of them comes up to me with a piece of paper, she says her other friend (not the same one with her) had seen me and thought I was cute, and she wanted her to give me her phone number. I was kinda surprised and flattered so I took the paper and told her thanks, then they left. Later that night I checked out her myspace link (which was also on the paper), thought she was kinda cute and decided to contact her to see if anything came of it... So I sent her a text message, nothing special, just to kinda break the ice and get to know her, as I had never seen her or spoken to her in person. She responds with something like 'it's really late, I have to wake up early to go to work', it was kinda late, so I figured ok, no problem. So then today I sent her another text kinda along the same lines, asking questions to get to know her, what she likes, etc... and she responded with 'I feel kinda wierd I don't even know you...' (keep in mind the extent of the questions was favorite food, favorite music, etc..) and I was just thinking the whole time... 'isn't that what this little interaction we're having right now would be for...? To get to know eachother...'
So what seemed like a good idea has turned out to be kind of confusing, I think if it were me on the opposite end, if I thought a chick was cute, to the point of actually giving her my phone number, I would be stoked if she called, and I would probably try to drop whatever I might have been doing at the time to speak with her... I also sent her a message over myspace, to which she didn't respond. Idk... Anyone have any ideas what could be going on? Think I may be overdoing it a bit? Should I tone it down and make her make the next move to try to contact me?
