Is it possible
So the past couple days I have been really down for some reason. Last night though was really bad and I was laying in bed listening to music basically tormenting myself with my own thoughts. My question is can it be possible to drive yourself to hallucinations being down or was it something else? I was laying there and saw things that just didn't make sense a few times. At one point my old dog appeared in front of me and was staring at me. Another point something was moving on the other side of the room.
I'm somewhat freaked out about it...

Stress can lead to nervous breakdowns and hallucinations, yeah.

*scratches head* Did you want something more in depth? I'm not 'smart enough' to understand deeper meanings and concepts. Ask anyone.

If someone has more then I would be interested. I just wanted to make sure that was a possible reason for what happened. If not I would have been more concerned.

Well, you're putting yourself down so lately, you're basically punishing yourself...so that's probably the cause.

See, it didn't feel spiritual though in the normal way. I am a spiritual person but seeing my dog and random thing does not fit into my spirituality. If so I can't figure it out. Plus my spirituality mostly revolves around the emotion of love. Not love for me but just the emotion in general even if it means trying to help others with it.
Then there are other various things I am into. To be honest though I have been neglecting my spiritual side compared to normal. I have seen things in the past but those were more spiritual and a couple of them are tied into sleep paralysis incidents. I consider the sleep paralysis ones to still be spiritual though.
umm...
In case that sounded bad I don't see stuff often. It's only happened enough times I can probably count them on two hands. I know it's not something I need meds for.

seriously though I have seen ghosts before and I believe in various types of mediums.

Yeah, ghost are one of the things I have seen as well and I do believe in things most people don't. For example, It's unlikely I would have thought a fairy was just a hallucination depending on the circumstances.
The dog is weird though because first of all that dog just does not live here now and shes still alive. Also looking at my state of mind I thought maybe it was just because of that. Just wasn't sure if it was possible to get driven to the point of seeing things. I'm spiritual but also have a very logical side at the same time. That probably sounds weird to most people reading what I said but it's true. When I believe something my logic brain will fight me for hours. I can spend days trying to logically figure out how something that seems illogical is logical.
You should have seen how long it took me to accept my patron deity. I spent weeks just figuring out that the mythology is impossible for me to take seriously without driving myself nuts and is just metaphorical. I also spent days accepting the fact she was my patron deity even though all the signs were clear. It was only after that and understanding what I felt about her inside I was able to accept it.

All I can say is that this is great fun. Also, sarcasm. I know what you're talking about, and I haven't done it in awhile (I haven't felt too strongly about anything for some time, because I've taught myself otherwise), but it still sucked.
