but i was wrong. My grandfather has probably spent $100,000 on lotto tickets, hoping 1 day he will finally make it big... irony is, if he saved that 100,000 in a retirement fund or investment, he could have made more money than lost. this is obviously a gimmick to get more Australians who watch late night tv (ask yourself what kind of people these are) to waste their money on more lotto tickets.
