Now this spirit I speak of is not necessarily a spirit guide or guardian...but something you learn from, get advice from...argue with, and so on and so forth. Kinda like a conscious, but visible and palpable.

What would yours look like...think about it...

Mine would have the head of a wolf except for the ears, they would be more like humans, but with points at them, and finely furred...he would stand like a man, have a shimmering coat like rainbow steal you see on some cars (not because I am gay, just because he is a "childhood imaginary friend" I had and that is how he was then). His tail though would be like a snakes...able to bend every which way and it is strong as a constrictor's body. He also has shimmering white wings...HOWEVER he has shackles around his wrists ankles, chest and the mid part of his tail. No chains attached...it is more like he broke free from something, and now he has those as reminders of his confinement. His eyes are also like a snakes, green as an emerald with a black slit in the middle for the pupil.

Of course in my childhood fantasies this guy was able to jump dimensions/realms...he would take the shape of something in those plains of existance to blend in...then help save the place from an evil force...usually,,,mainly his goal though was to learn about the ways of life different people had. LOL (yes I am insane)

Anyways, hope to hear from a few people who have imaginations!

Aren't those some of the things a spirit guide does? I keep thinking "spirit guide" even though you said it isn't necessarily one. I would imagine that mine would be some type of cat. Not a little cat but something in the cat family. It would communicate with me telepathically. I picture it being a giant black cat. Something similar to a black panther. I think it would be very smart and a good guide. It would take me on spiritual journeys and help me with many things.

well, in my experience there can be many different guides that can help you along the way, depending on your situation. However, I've been taught that there are also a very limited number of guides that remain with you all the time.

I would like to think that some kind of cat would be one of my guides. But I'm pretty sure that I have a lot of birds around me, which is also pretty cool.
