So what's your take on these type of performers? Do you think it's the real deal, or fake as hell?

I personally think it's some type of gimmick, an act, just like anything else. They always say they're using continuous shots and no camera tricks, but how are you supposed to know if they're telling the truth or not...? They could just say those things to make it seem more real.

they perform "magic tricks" so in essence they are fake because it's just tricks. i agree with you on that but i also think it's pretty nuts some of the stunts Criss Angel does.

I try to ignore them as much as I can. They seem pretty lame, but maybe not as bad as traditional magicians, like the one I saw on TV the other day. I think it was the blonde guy who did a show with Pam Anderson for a while...Hans Klok. I really don't like to use the word like this, but, man, was that ever "gay."

David Blaine's stuff can be explained, as it's all been done before.

But Criss is on a whole different level. A lot of his stunts can't be explained (I think). He's able to tap into the paranormal side of the human mind, and that's what makes him able to do amazing things. I wish I could see him do something myself, instead of having to see it on tv, because then I could determine rightly.
