Who was the oldest and most sheltered person you ever met? How were they sheltered and how did they act?

Back on subject.
I'm pretty sheltered.
I had religion shoved down my throat when I was younger.
Still having it too.
I'm not allowed to leave the house unless it's with someone my dad knows personally.
So that means no friends after school.
And that causes me to be EXTREMELY shy around people.

You're still under 18 though. If someone is still sheltered in their 20s, 30s, or even older it's a bit shocking.

I was pretty sheltered till I got to college. I also had religion force fed to me quite a bit, so my parents never even let me listen to secular music. That in turn caused me to not even listen to music at all, still trying to recuperate from that. I now see religion differently, and I am now not quite that sheltered, although I still live in video games too much lol.

She's almost 20 and I actually just saw her at Wal-Mart a few days ago. She still looks about 14 and was wearing a bulky sweater like always. My bad, I meant to use emotionally regressed not mentally. She's really smart actually, she just doesn't know how to interact with people her age well or really anyone over 14. I'm not saying she doesn't have friends her own age just that with how she acts and so on, she's more on level with a 12 to 14 year old. It's like she's living in her own fluffy world or something.

One of my friends is 19. She has lived such a sheltered life she called me and asked me if the apartment she was looking at was for sale or rent. She doesn't know how to pay a bill. She just recently learned how to work a computer and cell phone. She knows very little about anything sexual. What she does know she's asked me about. She has very few friends. All of her clothes are about 3 sizes too big. She doesn't even know how to put gas in a car let alone drive one.

Her parents sheltered her because she gets sick a lot and they thought that it was the best thing for her that she didn't know the outside world.

Pretty much. It's sad, but it's her life and she knows enough about the real world to survive how well I don't know.

Oh I see, I also find it weird that even though she was molested she still acts as if she doesn't understand sexual stuff. Of course it could also be her parents' doing as well.
