Who was the oldest and most sheltered person you ever met? How were they sheltered and how did they act?

My brother is the most sheltered person I know. The kid lives in video games.

Emotionally, I'm a sheltered individual.
I never had any friends, I still don't really.
I don't understand how "normal" relationships with people are supposed to work, and why I feel certain ways in a reactionary sense.

I am not sure how they are suppose to work either. I guess that's why I tend to go for the trashy ones because I know they cannot support themselves so they will have to keep coming back to me no matter what. HAHAHAHA!!

...oh, jeez, I am just kidding. I cannot stand people. That's why I don't have any friends. The two I do have are fucking assholes and that's why we love each other so much.

Ummm I was raised mormon, so by definition I am sheltered..well I was. For instance I JUST went on a rollercoaster for the first time in my life this month. Also there are tons of things I had never done as a kid due to lack of friends and being homeschooled in a more or less country setting where there weren't kids my own age to hang out with. I do not know a lot of movies, and have never played any sports on a team ran by a school or any other corporation...it was not my fault either it is because I was kept from those things by my parents...sooo which are we talking about self sheltering, or the ones how were force sheltered?

If it makes them happy then shit. I wouldn't mind escaping every now and then, but to stay away is something else.

In a way I admire these women. But on the other hand it is a bit sad really.

That's not really shelterd, that's more like choosing an alternative lifestyle because you don't like the decade you live in. That's something people do all the time, especially back in the 90s. Retro was and is very big. Of course the early 1900-mid 1900s are mostly romanticized. I have living relatives that grew up during these times that actually say it's alot easier (due to inventions) to live now then it was in their day but at the same time think life was more simple and more private back then.

To be honest sometimes I feel like going back in time, even all the way back to ancient or mideval times because life can get very rediculous at times in the 21st century.
