The point is made, but I still have some things in mind:

This upset me mostly because I didn't expect to read stupid shit like that from people I talked to and considered friends. We shared something nice we experienced, after all, this is a forum.

After the initial thread post and a few responses to toasties that posted, we let the subject drop. It's not like we sat here and obsessed over the thread, making sure that each and every toastie reads and responds to it.. In fact, we completely forgot about it till we read those ridiculous posts today..

There was no reason to "tone it down" because there wasn't any boasting to begin with. Tisk tisk, people should just learn to understand what they read before they start blabbing about it. Or just ignore it, like we do when we don't like the contents of the thread/blog/bulletin or where ever someone posted.. Because we don't go around telling people to stop bitching about the all the sad and horrible things going on in their lives, or indicate that they can't post/"boast" about happy stuff because we're feeling down. Either we try to help/congratulate or leave it be..

I'm not as upset about it anymore, specially after reading through this thread and knowing that there are people who understand. [Thanks Stoss and to those who had positive comments on the other thread, I appreciate it ] I just felt like I had to let things out since I've kept quiet until now.

Well, on the 5 Hours thread my first comment was meant jokingly, I know what both of you had gone through and I am really really happy for you guys. The thing that started to piss me off was everyone else decided to rub it in on how great everything in their sex life was, and since that's been a constant theme with people constantly spouting about that to me it's getting really tiresome...especially that was a theme in my convos with people yesterday...

So, whatever. If you want to be pissed at me about that, go ahead. You won't be the first person to hate me nowadays, I'm getting good at screwing up friendships.

I can't exactly remember whether or not i posted in that thread and I am not too ashamed to admit that I am too lazy to use the search function at this point but, I can agree where you and Stoss are coming from. Issues like this are always a double edged sword so, I should have seen this coming.

Before I close this post though, I want to say that if i did make any negatively criticizing posts within that thread, that I apologize for them. I'll be the first one to admit that I was probably not under the greatest mindset, and should have remained reserved.

As for the relationship between you and Archy, you are one of the lucky ones. I myself may have just found that one but, I'm not in a rush for it. Anyway, good luck to the both of you.
