My boy and I

We've both been so damn busy lately that tonight was the first time I've seen him in over a week. And we were both so out of it and exhausted (I'm on my second-wind right now) that we barely held any real conversation (also, we went and saw a movie, so conversation wasn't exactly top priority). Anyways, so when we get out of the theater he tells me "You know I'm horrible with relationships, right?"
And so of course I'm like "What are you getting at?"
And he asks if I am really interested in continuing to see him, and I tell him I wouldn't be there with him if I didn't... and as my taxi pulls up he tells me that he needs to see me more often, then.

So I get home just as he comes online and I tell him outright that given our situation, where we both have hectic schedules and work insane amounts for our education-load, I wouldn't be offended if he wanted to see other people as well. I mean, seriously, if he and I are only going to see each other once or twice a week, I may even want to pick up a more convenient, likely more casual, relationship. (I didn't tell him that second part.)

He claimed he was too tired to talk about it, and he went off to bed, but now I really hope I haven't fucked anything up. I mean, I'm not in this relationship to get married or anything, I like his companionship and that's likely all it's going to be. I don't think I could ever move in with him, we're too diametrically opposed for that, but we have fun together (most of the time) and that's what I'm looking for at this point in my life.

Well, tomorrow he and I are probably going to have that talk... *sigh*

He and I have been in a relationship for about three months.

i'm gonna sound like a gushy weirdo but i'd keep the truth out in the open. say ur not thinking that this is going to be serious and if hes up for just having fun then thats what u can do

but be careful cause fun can turn into feelings and the longer that there are feelings on one side the harder it will be to get out of a relationship that is strongly attached on one side and that can go both was

Yeah, I think this guy is seeing this relationship for more than what it is and is getting too emotionally invested in it. OR he's not feeling the same about you he used to, and is trying to find the easy way out, especially since he started off with the "You know I'm horrible with relationships, right?" line...

Right, well I told him that I can't commit to a serious relationship right now. I am not really wanting one, and I will have a fucking nervous breakdown if I keep stacking commitments. We've decided that we're just dating, but we don't exactly know what that means. >_>

Well, maybe it means that you're more than just friends, but not in a full-on relationship? Like, you won't whore around with other people or something? I dunno...Hopefully this will work out for you. Good luck, buddy.
