I read a story...

Okay, this topic is about something rather strange.

The other night, before going to bed I read a story... and it scares me halfway to death. So I get into bed, I turn around a bit, am unbelievably creeped out by various sounds, and I open my eyes and I'm hallucinating--I see the vague shape of a massively freaking huge man standing there, and then he takes a step and turns into a blur of a woman suddenly... and then I see her standing there, and for about an hour I lay there until the image just sort of... fades. And then when I do go to sleep, I don't remember any of the dreams I had.

The worst part of all? I completely forgot everything about the story. I can't remember anything about it, just that I read it and it scared me witless.

Something similar happened to my sister a few years back.

I'm not quite sure what book she was reading

But she claimed to see a short but large figure standing infront of the mirror..

She thought it was my other sister but when she came closer the figure turned to wards her and let out a glass shattering scream..

I woke up at that poit I heard her screaming to0o..

She slept in my room for weeks...

I was about 13 then.. and she's 18 years older than I am..

That's happened to me before except it was a small midget man sitting in my desk chair. That's when I started sleeping with the lights on. If it happens again try getting up and leave the room for the kitchen or something until you've calmed yourself a bit... or you could do what I do and keep a croquet mallet next to your bed. :x

Well, the story that I'd read, I'm pretty sure it was an online one, because I've already checked every book I have here and I just don't think that it's any of them.

Holy crap that's scary

Stuff like that really freaks me out. That's why I sleep with a lamp on, haha.

And about someone saying to leave the room and go to the kitchen, I'd never be able to move if that kinda thing was in my room.

Well, I hope it doesn't happen to you again.

Do you think my parents shapeshift or turn invisible like freakin' super heroes?

Furthermore, do you think that one of my parents, if they did shapeshift and turn invisible, would stand there for an hour while I sit there scared witless?
