Emancipation

Alright, I am currently 16 years old, turning 17 on April.I have been trying to Find helplines for this issue, but they won't help.
This is something i must do, i am almost done with high school, before i turn 17 I'll be a graduate.
Mother doesn't want me to get a job or anything, I don't go out with my friends or anything like that, she says '' i have to be there''.
Ok, 1. shes never here, and when she is she too busy.
She doesn't take care of us, my gram does, and when grams says we can go out, mom jumps in and says we can't for X-reason.She doesn't buy us anything, and when she does it's only to impress her current boyfriend of the week.

So this is something really important for me, It's a way to help my self and my little sister.
I would appreciate, any help in this issue.

have a sit down with her and tell her that you need to experience some life before its too late and your her. if you haven't thought of that already.

i have tried everything, thats why emancipation is my last option.
counseling...doesn't help.

daaang i dont know...i never was in that situation. all i can say is get up some good reasons and tell her. but you said you tried that. im sorry i cant help more.

i think your right, i mean if your mother wont reason with you, you may have to attempt emancipation, the only problem is that i believe you have to have a job and be able to support yourself %100 in order for the courts to allow it...so i dont know, maybe talk to some friends or something
