laptop help

Ok, first a little background. About a week ago, I was using my laptop (Satellite U305-S5077) as normal. Everything I used it for worked. This brings me to my issue. The disc drive hasn't been reading any discs whatsoever since yesterday. Last week, it was reading CD's and DVD's with no problem whatsoever. I'm not sure what I did wrong and this leaves me completely clueless. My question to any who would know is how you would go about solving this? I looked up drivers on the Toshiba website and their online help section to no avail so I'm checking with you guys. If any of you want more info just ask.

Check to make sure there is no condensation on the lense. Most of the time, when you bring your laptop frequently between cold and warm locations, there is bound to be a little water condensation on the lense.

Find a laser lense cleaner and see what happens.
