My computer has an annoying habit of warning me anytime the batteries in my mouse are low(and most of the time they are not,) with a pop-up message that minimizes any other application I am using. This is extremely inconvenient if I am playing a game or something online and I am suddenly at my desktop again. And my computer sucks so it takes like a full minute to bring the application back up if it even does.
Anyway... Does anyone know of a way to turn the warning messages off?
EDIT: Oh yeah, it's a Sony Vaio, about six years old using Windows XP Home edition.

did you try going into your control panel under the mouse section and fiddling with that?

I also noted your chest to waist ratio is suitable for birthing.
Therefore, I think you should live in my house.
To be honest, that's about the weirdest thing I've ever heard. What kind of mouse are you using with your Vaio?

did the mouse come with a setup disk or is it plug and play?

if its standard plug and play theres not much I can help with unless theres a properties icon that shows up somewhere on your computer when its plugged in. If theres a setup disk try and see if theres a preferences section.
That's all I got. Good Luck.

What I would try and do first, is uninstall the device and then reinstall it. Sometimes, when it comes to plug and play devices, there is always something that would screw up the installation, regardless if you follow the steps by the letter. After you reinstall the device, run Windows Update under an account that has administrative rights (since you run Windows XP, that would be your account) and download the hardware updates and any new drivers that might come with it.
New software for the device might have been distributed by Microsoft via the Automatic Updates because of this issue so, it would be a good idea to search Microsoft.com or check the optional updates when you run Windows Update.

Alright, I'll give that a try. Thanks for the advice!
