Just had to comment concerning the guy who introduced Sam Harris, there are plenty of atheists holding public office in this country. I'm not too sure, but I think the highest is a Congressman. Certainly they aren't a majority or even a large minority, but he made it sound as though they were non-existent. I've yet to watch all the videos, so that's as much as I'll say for now.

Well, Richard Dawkins has competition for being my favourite speaker. Sam Harris was very well-spoken, knew where to let out a joke, and was incredibly precise and insightful in his criticism of religious arguments. He hit the money on every point he made.
