The Philosophy of the THE MATRIX
So I took a philosophy class last semester and the whole class was based on the amazing Keanu Reeves movie...THE MATRIX! It may have been the most amazing class in my whole school experience...Has anyone else seen or heard about this phonemon

It's basically a post-modern existentialist movie, with the twist being that there is a definable reality (Zion). In most post-modern stuff, the whole point is there is no absolute reality. The Matrix series is great for these reasons. People who didn't like the last 2 usually don't like this kind of stuff, because that's what made the last 2 so outstanding imo. The first one is still the best though

no one really know WHY we are here.. just another movie trying to give insight of our existence...i had to watch the movie a couple times to actually understand what it was trying to convey. |
