Deeper Meaning
I believe that our dreams hide some sort of deeper meaning without out lives or someone else's. I have seen books to help describe what certain little things mean when they are in your dreams but mine, as of late, have been strange in different ways.
In the first way, things that happen in my dreams end up happening in real life and for some reason that doesn't freak me out. I have been reading up on psychic stuff and I am starting to believe that maybe I have some sort of ability. My dreams aren't about seeing the dead or whatever but more like seeing the future in some twisted way. Whenever someone I have never seen before is really close to me in my dream, I end up meeting that person in real life someway. Other things happen as well. I will dream of certain odd things and then try to twist and turn that into an understanding in the real world and when I finally figure it out I tend to be able to pick it up in the real world.
The only thing that is reoccurring in my dreams is the fact that I was born on the moon. I actually had a very vibrant dream 2 days ago about how I was born on the moon but wasn't able to figure it out until I discovered my power of flight. I was somewhere out in California [I am guessing] on this huge beach and when I looked up at the moon, it was turning red in certain spaces. I have had so much love for the moon throughout my entire life so I don't know if that helps or anything....but anyway, when I saw the moon being 'destroyed' I flew up to it to discover the house I grew up in. I explored it a little bit and then went back to Earth to grab my sister and took her so I could show her. [Now, this house looked NOTHING like the one I really grew up in.] We explored through the house wandering from room to room until we discovered our own. I started sifting through my closet to find Gameboy, NES, SNES, GBA and Genesis games that I have owned throughout my real life. For some reason, in this dream, I had an older sister named Sophie that had died when I was younger.
Anyway, this is the first dream in a long time that I cannot completely figure out. I am going to try to see if I can find any websites that could help me further my education so I could possible figure it out.
The only thing I could figure out is the older sister thing because I was suppose to have an older sibling but my mother miscarried....nothing else makes sense.
I talked to my mom about it on the phone yesterday and she told me that she could do that too and my grandmother could as well. My mom told me that she noticed me doing it when I was a child...chasing and talking to people that weren't there, having dreams, telling her about them and then she would see them occur in real life.
Any input?

Interesting, I would keep doing research if I were you. I think you have a natural gift.
As for the dream, have you ever tried to look at it as if each part represents a aspect of you? Just a suggestion but in one method of dream interpretation that I have sometimes found useful that is what you would do. For example, maybe the death of the older sister when she was young represents a part of you that died at a young age? I know you said that's because of a miscarriage but it's just a thought. Can't think of what about you the moon would represent. If you used this method it's really something that would need to be figured out on your own. Sometimes it's good to look for information reading about dreams but always remember it's your mind! The messages that get sent to you may not be shown the same ways someone else gets them. Trust yourself over any reading you do.

Yea. I try to relate everything to me as I am and what makes me but sometimes it just doesn't make sense or sometimes I cannot think of anything.

I have had that happen before.Once while sitting in a movie i was talking to a friend through it and i pointed out everything that was going to happen without even seeing the movie.Mind you we went to the first showing of that movie and i have never seen it before. And while i was watching it, it felt like i already seen that movie a hundred times before.
Also when i was little i had a dream that my dog's head fell off for like no reason. No one choped it off or anything. Then the very next morning my grandfather came into my room and told me m dog died.
My grandmother also had an experience with this kind of stuff. She had a dream that her first husband who she was with at the time died in a car crash. And about a week later he did.

Thought waves attract objects toward which they are oriented. It might be that you're more "magnetic" than most people.
Then again, a good deal of it may just be mere coincidence that you've associated with previous events of similar nature -- just saying. The reason horoscopes are proscribed to by so many people is because they are terribly vague. "You will meet a tall, dark, and handsome stranger" is a very subjective description. Are these people you meet of exact likeness to the ones in your dream, or of similar personalities? If you're dreaming about something, your mind could be on it, and you are more likely to notice things that are relevant to your interests while dismissing the rest as "background noise", so to speak. You meet people of all different personality types every day, one will probably stand out if you've dreamed about them.

The people that I dream about and then meet in real life fit that person almost exactly. Sometimes their hair is longer or shorter when I meet them but their personalities are right on key. The first time it happened was when I was 14 years old. I dreamed about this girl who helped me get through a big problem and in my dream, I knew her for year.
I met her in real life when I went to my dad's softball teams' tryouts. She was the same height, hair color, eye color, face...everything to a T except her hair was shorter then it was in my dream.
I never knew her name in my dream either. That happens every time. I never know their name.
I had another one where I was at my lake house, just me and this guy. In my dream we were good friends and we weren't together and we were older. I met him almost a year after that dream and we ended up dating for about 6 months. That was when I was 16 years old.
If you didn't read my post in The Dark Knight thread, I had a dream that I went to the movies to see The Dark Knight and I saw an exact scene in it of Two Face. When I woke up, I said something to Daniel about it because I knew the Joker was going to be in it but I had no idea they were going to throw Two Face in there. When I was at the movies, I picked up Two Face instantly but almost near the end of the movie I saw the exact same scene I had dreamed about months before.
I don't want to think that all of these things are just coincidences because I am not forcing the similarities upon what happens in the real world. I actually try to cancel them out and then keep getting proven wrong.

Born on the moon? Maybe it could mean you feel like you're different from everyone, kind of like if you dreamed you were adopted it could mean you don't feel like you fit in to your family.

psychological answer: The moon as your origin represents isolation. The fact that you returned for your unborn sister could mean you are struggling with feelings related to that, and perhaps associate your isolation with the lack of having said sister (are you an only child?) Looking through your old house with your sister could likely represent yearning for a lost childhood that never was. Or I could be wrong, basing this off way too much limited information.
Theosophical/Metaphysical answer: Personally, I think that the most plausible understanding of dreams is the world without time. No boundaries exist, because our imagination is the limit of this world. However, imo, this doesn't make dreams any less real. When we get angry unnecessarily, our anger is still real, even if the perceived threat isn't. Similarly, dreams are real until we realize we are dreaming (and even then that's flexible, if you've experienced lucid dreaming at all). Our brain perceives them just as real as what we call "reality" even though reality is the same brain processing signals.
Then comes the idea that our consciousness is connected somehow. We're all sending out bio-electric impulses, signals, what have you. Theoretically, we could be latching on to these energies, which manifests in your subconscious dream state as these coincidental events, people, places, etc.
This is all just my opinion, I in no way have any accreditation for this. It's just stuff I'm interested in.

Lawrence Fishburn once said "What is real? How do you define real? If real is what you can feel, smell, taste and see, then 'real' is simply electrical signals interpreted by your brain".
Okay, so he didn't come up with the line... but it still counts. Our reality is subjective, defined by our own concepts and imagination. That's why I find so much of science so interesting, because real life can sometimes be more fantastic than any fiction we could devise with our limited imaginations.
We'd be liars to say that we understand everything about the universe, or even about ourselves. We don't even know the nature of consciousness.
