Personally I dont agree with everything stated in this website, but here it is.

They seem to be taking it as if the Bible was written by God, but in reality it was written by men to whom God spoke to, and they had to write it in such a way to which they and other people could understand.

And it had to be corrupted in order to use it to manipulate the people and usurp their freedom from them.

Not only is it not written by God, but it's also been manhandled, altered, and mistranslated so much that it's doubtful that any of it's current surface value holds any meaning to any supposed divinly inspired intent it may have.

Personally, I think Truth is buried everywhere. You just have to know how to dig.

This website is pure fundamentalist clap-trap that tries to disguise itself by presenting the "other views" while constantly showing all the ways the Bible says they are wrong.

Good thing the Bible told us about things like how to make the computers, the internet, and websites. Oh wait, that was SCIENCE that allowed these people to make this mockery.

I couldn't agree more with Brother of Yeshua. I'm a firm believer of finding out what the truth is. I have my beliefs in God but, at the same time, I can't get the thought out of my head that whoever was chosen to translate his words into text that somehow people would understand, may as well have corrupted the Bible in a way to "manipulate the people and usurp their freedom from them."

I being have read the Bible (not all of it of course), I notice that there are a number of contradictions in the text. If God is indeed all-loving and everyone under him, regardless of race or colour or what have you, are his children, then why is there suffering amongst the masses? Why, in other communities, do people have other advantages that people in Harlem, in Bushwick, in East New York, in Ohio and every other community that the government somehow forgets about, don't have? And those are just two of the questions that I have with regards to the text in the Bible.

I am to the point that I dare say that the Bible is a corruption of the lord's word. Not a translation. This isn't him. And if one day someone dies find out that someone did screw up, then who is he really?

This is why I don't hold judgment against against agnostics or atheists. They may just be on to something. However, my faith is in him. Words are cheap. Actions will allow him to prove himself. And for the people who corrupt his word, who bend his word to their satisfaction to control the classes, to separate the races, to cause pain, suffering and strife in the world, they'll get their just desserts.

I agree that actions speak louder than words.

If only God would act, maybe I would find some credence to the claims his followers make of him.

"He loves you and wants you to be well"
"Really? I am interested in exploring this... have him fix my leg".
"Pardon?"
"If he's all powerful, get him to make it not hurt"
"Um..."
"Is there a problem? Come on, he flooded the entire planet and killed every firstborn in Egypt in a single night... are you telling me he can't ease my pain? Some benevolent father he is..."

note: this is but one example of the numerous ways in which the Christian God has failed in my view.

So I was watching this creation science clip with Kent Hovind the other day, and he was going on and on about how the whole world was corrupt and everyone was evil and that's why there was a flood, which led to noah and his ark and blah blah. But I was thinking, doesn't this itself poke a hole in that entire story? "God created man in his image" (Christians are always talking about how perfectly he created us humans to be) yet we were all evil to the extent of deserving essentially execution from God himself? So God creates us, then we turn evil somehow, then God kills us all, all but one man that's 600 years old and his family...who later repopulate the entire earth with their imbred offspring. Idk about anyone else, but that shit is way more offensive to someone than "I don't believe in God"...

actually, I am inclined to believe that there are some parts that may not be influenced by God at all. As for the flooding of the world, I would dare say it wasnt the entire world, just a section, aka view discovery channel or wherever it was segment.

Yes, but the Bible says that it was the world... in my opinion if you don't think it was the world then you shouldn't be taking any part of the Bible literally.
