We've been noticing a massive decline of activity, and we have dispatched a massive mailing to our users to see what happened that caused them to lose interest in the Toast. I now present the [Idea] thread. As mentioned in your email, we need your ideas. NO MATTER what you think of it, we can use your help, so please..please..post your thoughts here.
It's your turn to help revive what was one of the most popular forums on the internet, and we need your input to make this the best it can be. A forum does not survive solely on a great forum administration and staff team, it needs a bunch of great users like yourself to help make it the best we can. Because of that, your ideas are the most precious thing we have, and we would like you to share them with us..

Wait...leaflets! No need to drop 'em from the sky but, I've noticed even in Times Square, they really do get the message out.

I can see if my producers will let me post something on my web series site... It has been picking up a lot of interest lately... It'll help us show potential investors what they can expect from our advertising (like a banner link to the site) while getting more visitors to the site. The site isn't complete, but here is what it looks like right now. Bill Is A Dick | Coming this October
Stickers would kick ass too, as I can put them anywhere in my office. A shit ton of people walk in and out of this place with all of the events we hold. In the last two weekends, we held three fringe festival events with brought in almost 200 people.
A lot of local Philadelphia bars let people write on the walls and shit too. So it'll be easy to get the word out this way.

Watch my web series... (P.S. I need someone who can potentially make me a banner/link towards the site.)
There will be BT buttons and patches being sold through Hazardous Creations which is a site being designed and developed by eXosYn and me (BIG props and thanks to eXosYn, though) for mine and B!0's little business we're getting started.
Other than that, all I can think of for now is to attempt to advertise wherever we can. Also, some of the forum section changes we talked about before. Example would be to put TV, movies, and videogames as subcategories in a singular "Entertainment" forum.
Can't really think of any suggestions for advertising the forum. A suggestion for improvement, however... Don't be so closed to new members.
Just because someone is new a a particular forum doesn't mean they've never used a computer before. It's like being the new kid in school, and it fucking sucks. Everyone already has a best friend and nobody wants to listen to you.
Call me selfish, but I tried to make some suggestions when I first got here and everyone freaked out. It may not be broke, it may not need fixing, but things can always be made better. I'm guilty of scaring new members away myself, so I know it's difficult, but new blood makes forums better.
I'm sure the changes to come for BeastToast are going to be fantastic and I know several of the members are very cool, but the effort as a whole is not worth it. I know I'm at a disadvantage to try and build credentials here, so I'm not even going to bother. I may check back periodically, but I have my own forum to tend to.

Best of luck for the BT future. :]
Yes, we know that kind of crap was going on in the past, but with the new administration, things are changing for the better. My biggest problem with this place was the whole scaring members away thing. We need a member base, sure, but I'd rather ban 4 idiots that scared 1 person off than let them scare another person who may actually be valuable to the forums. Trolls are on my hit list.
