[Ideas] BeastToast Idea Farm

Hey Toasties...

We've been noticing a massive decline of activity, and we have dispatched a massive mailing to our users to see what happened that caused them to lose interest in the Toast. I now present the [Idea] thread. As mentioned in your email, we need your ideas. NO MATTER what you think of it, we can use your help, so please..please..post your thoughts here.

It's your turn to help revive what was one of the most popular forums on the internet, and we need your input to make this the best it can be. A forum does not survive solely on a great forum administration and staff team, it needs a bunch of great users like yourself to help make it the best we can. Because of that, your ideas are the most precious thing we have, and we would like you to share them with us..

the forum's look
features you want to see
other topics...
marketing strategies
and whatever else you can think of..

I've been thinking of this for a while now but, I guess now would be a better time than ever to mention this.

I'm a host and system administrator for an Internet radio station called The BKConnection Radio Network or, BKC for short.

I'm thinking in the area of voiceovers or ad spots for Internet stations to play between their segments. Something to do more than just get the name of BeastToast out there but, to act as a testimonail for members who have been there and who know what BT was, what BT currently is and what BT can be.

A few voice drops from members would be optional of course and maybe something from the admins and mods as well. It'll require a little craftwork to determine the angle that BKC's production team could take but, every suggestion from the users, the mods and yes, even the admins, would help.

I think that's a great idea! It would be an awesome way to get some more attention directed to not only one of the largest of boards on the net, but one that covers any topic at all! GREAT suggestion, and keep them coming everyone.

I've always been a fan of something involving stickers. Like, the Toast, with the URL underneath it.

You could just make logos and sell stuff through cafe press or something similar.

That way you just design some logos and the site will take care of merchandise

It would be a way for members to advertise. Eventually it could be a way to garner profit.

You could do the sticker thing on there as well.

Hell, I was thinking smaller. Like bumper stickers or something, just small squares, big enough for the URL to be noticed. I guess we could do full-size papers too.

Someone that did the graphics for BKC forums would really come in handy right about now...Oooooh Daaanyyyy!!
