vegetarianism

NOTE: I didn't know where else to put this, if it is moved then please send me a note. Oh, and if it's already been done I apologize.

I saw a video in my Foods class today about Vegetarianism and I thought, "What a great subject to involve my friends at BeastToast in!" So here I am. Please take the poll and then explain why you are or are not a vegetarian. If you are one, I would also like to know what kind you are. And if you really want to share you can tell us how you keep yourself healthy. I think this will help members be able to relate to each other more than "we're both on beast toast."

I personally am not a vegetarian, but I keep myself open to new ideas. I might become one later on in my life, due to heart and obesity problems on both sides of my family. I'm not sure. Please enjoy the thread and let's not try to bash each other too much.

I am not one for the simple fact that I do not really think I need to be. It can be healthy to be one but its just not for me. I like meats to much to just be a vegetarian.

i just love it way too much

i am a vegitarian, but i still eat fish.
for protein i eat lots of peanuts.

Well technically fish is not a meat. I am not sure why it's not a meat. I only know this because during lent my family could not eat meats on fridays so we ate fish instead.

Which I always thought was stupid, but that is getting into something else entirely.

lol, yeah the pope had to grant permission for people to be able to eat fish on fridays during lent. silly silly, im probably going to stop eating fish soon too. but i have to ease myself in haha, cant give up everything all at once lol.

I was just doing some thinking and decided to see if there was a topic about this already. I think I might just try the vegetarian thing, maybe....
