Lazy or what?

I think this should go to the fitness section.

I have noticed that lately I have been sort of 'lazy.' I don't really want to call it lazy but that is the only word that I can think of to explain this.

I work in an office, so I am sitting all day. That kills my back and wears me out. Most people don't understand that even though I am sitting all day, I still get worn out by it.

But lately when I get up to 'stretch my legs' and go back into the shop to smoke or talk, I sit down instantly. If I go outside to smoke a cigarette at my house, I find a place to sit.
So I am sitting a majority of the day. I have been doing this for the last 4-5 months. I don't know if it is because of my back hurting or my knees but I was just wondering if anyone else had any idea what this could be.

If I am up and doing something, like cleaning, I can keep moving and I don't have to sit down but as soon as I stop I am sitting down again.

I have that problem sometimes as well...perhaps you should try literally stretching your legs, you know? Or while walking back there, lean against a wall instead of sitting down. Or don't stand still, just continue to move around a bit...

Well, I walk a lot though. I will go to the park and walk around for an hour or so at least once or twice a week.

That's why I say you try some actually stretching exercises...because it seems to be just a habit of you sitting.

Sitting actually takes alot out of you. Like you said it takes your back out and you find yourself always looking for a place to sit. But like everyone is saying try to walk a bit more and lay and stretch your legs do you can rest em..

I think it's really just a matter of making yourself sit less. As little as possible if you have to sit a lot. Inactivity causes you to get tired more so than if you are active throughout the day.
